10 Essentials for Driving Execution

Today, more than ever, we’re forced to deliver value at all levels and in all organizations.  A big part of value is getting things done.  It’s good to have strategy, it’s fantastic to have a detailed plan.  Even a great concept or set of ideas are truly appreciated.  With this being said, execution is what really matters.

Advice Matters!

Henry Ford once filed a libel lawsuit against a Chicago newspaper for calling him “an ignorant pacifist.” In an attempt to prove their point in court, the attorneys for the newspaper asked Mr. Ford a series of questions, none of which he could answer correctly. Finally tiring of their game, Mr. Ford pointed his finger at the lawyer who had asked the questions, and said, in essence, that he had a row of buttons on his desk and could push any one of them at any time to call someone on his staff who could answer any question he would ever need to ask.

Business Framework

A healthy body has healthy components and is managed with great check-ups, lab work and other tests, so the framework is always strong. As we grow older, progress is managed and actions are adjusted, making sure to keep the body in ideal shape, allowing for a great life of many wins.

Coaching One-on-One Presentations

A one-to-one presentation is probably the most frequently utilized form of communication we have.  Think about it:  how many times TODAY have you interacted with just one other person?  Properly handled, an effective one-to-one presentation could help you be a better manager, increase your execution effectiveness, turn conflict into construction, and even influence your superiors.  This book is intended to help you understand the potential impact of a well-managed one-to-one presentation… and show you ways in which you can improve your existing skill set.

Engagement

In winning over an audience, engagement can be a critical element to achieving your end result.  If an audience, whether it be one or 1,000, is engaged, they are interested and listening to your message.

Getting engagement helps maximize impact and avoids zone-out.  Engagement reinforces clarity and promotes focus.  It inspires people to take action and creates buy-in and mental ownership.

Perhaps most important, engagement facilitates execution of goals.  Engagement helps get results, faster!

ePresentation Mastery

Some People Just Have It.

They just naturally seem to say the right things.  They inspire others to outperform their abilities.  They seem to get their way more often.

Their kids seem inclined to listen and respond. At work they move up the corporate ladder faster.  They are often informal leaders and very often formal leaders as well. These people seemed to get called on frequently when others have a need, a question or an opportunity.

Like the old E.F. Hutton commercials, people seem to listen when they speak.  So, just what is it that they have? We think it is one of the key ingredients to success; the magic it that these people have is a Mastery of their Presentations.

High Leverage Activities

Do you know the difference between a group, a team, and a high performing team?

Really contemplating the definitions results in some interesting distinctions. A “group” is simply people doing things together, whereas a “team” involves interdependent people collaborating to reach a common goal. But a “High Performing Team” (HPT) is more. A HPT is comprised of highly invested, motivated individuals focused on a) being as effective as possible and b) accelerating results to meet predetermined objectives. Naturally, results are increased working as a HPT, which relies on an initial investment to create awareness and fosters clarity, focus, and of course good execution.

Rich Relationships

It’s not about the grades  you make as much as it is about the hands you shake.    This statement is not meant to insinuate that education and knowledge is not important – it is. What’s even more important for living the life you want is making connections and nurturing relationships.

Strategic Acceleration

The environment of my childhood was the equivalent of at least one Harvard MBA – or that is the way it seems to me today.  My life was about living in circumstances that were focused on identifying opportunity and creating strategies that could be executed to maximize those opportunities.  Along the way I was taught the most important business principle of my life:  “Give Value, Do More Than is Expected!”  My father taught me that principle when I was very young, and it is the foundation of whatever success I have enjoyed.  In fact, my entire business is based on helping my clients evaluate and execute their vision based on that idea

Strategic Selling for Extraordinary Resultsf

Virtually every company in existence wants growth. In almost all cases, there’s branding, marketing, and selling going on related to that growth.  Tony Jeary International reinforces a strategic and well-thought-out relationship between all three and has published books, whitepapers and articles on all three of these very important subjects.

Time Effectiveness

The speed of life today is fast.  People are time-starved.  In fact, when I talk to high achievers day in and day out, one of the most common things I hear is, “If only I had more time...

Since you cannot create more physical hours in the day, it is important to find creative opportunities and realign thinking to maximize minutes within the 24 hours available each day.  I’ve spent 25+ years developing best practices which do just that, and I am excited to share them within these pages.
